For years I have thought gowanda has needed a community/recreation center for students and adults. I own the old printshop building at s water and walnut sts and think this would be an ideal location and building for such a center. What do you think? any comments -ideas |

What do you think? any comments -ideas i have seen a great need for the teens in our area to have somethng meaningful to do in our community. i think if we could get something going with interested adults who can spend time with and maybe share their talents with the youth. even if we started in differant homes. once we started a movement to help our youth feel useful a facility would become available somehow. maybe we could get the kids working at something to raise money for a facility or even a pool. if they knew their efforts were worthwhile and contrubuting toward something to make their lives more interesting and worthwhile, the kids would be willing to participate inorder to see it actually come about. |
